Cape Fear River or try Catfish Lake, Great Lake, and Long Lake just off of Catfish Road in the Croatan Forest.

Bait: frogs, mollusks, crayfish, large invertebrates, chicken, shrimp, liver and stink baits.

Cape Fear River near Burgaw.  Upper White Oak River, access of hwy 58, and Nuese Creeks around Cherry Point.

Mostly small cats in Catfish Lake, Great Lake, and Long Lake do to the conditions of the lakes.

There are few Alligators in the White Oak just so you beware.

Mostly channel and blues. The Flatheads are now in the rivers also but they are trying to reduce the numbers.

I haven't been out lately so keep us up to date on your catches.
