Me and my husband are hosting the 11th Annual Youth Fishing Derby August 8th, 2010 at 11:00a.m. This fishing derby is part of our Tri-Town Summer Festival(
www.tritownsummerfestival.com), a non-profit organization. Each year, my husband and I host this free, derby to promote and encourage fishing in our community. The derby is held on a privately owned pond that is stocked with large mouth bass. It is, strictly, catch and release fishing. The goal for hosting this tournament is for the children of the Tri-Town area to get out, hopefully catch some fish, and have lots of fun. We try to make sure that each child can walk away from the derby with some sort of fishing prize/gift. The youths that attend are between the age 0-16. Each year the number of participants has grown considerably and it is getting more and more difficult to provide prizes for all. Last year, alone, we had 70+ participants. We have completely depleted our stock of measuring tapes, fishing logs, writing utensils, hats, shirts and all other donations that we have received from businesses in the past. Any type of donation would be greatly appreciated to make this Youth Derby a great success like it has been in the past. If you have any questions, please free to contact me by phone at 315-250-9232, U.S. mail: 151 Dullea Rd, Brasher Falls, NY 13613, email:

Sincerely,
