26 Dec 2011, Lake Guntersville Fishing Reports – Spend the morning on Guntersville checking a few of my winter locations for a couple future trips today. I fished mainly the mid-lake area. The water temp dropped a little to 50.4 degrees from 51 on Saturday. Fished jerk baits, A-rigs, Tight-Line jigs. This was another great day by anybodies standards catching 17 good largemouths in the 2-6 pound range and a bunch of stripers all looked as if you stuffed a football down their throats. I still have December 30-31 open with several days available in January and we’re already taking reservations for the spring!
