Blewett Falls was pretty rough 2 days ago but for some reason the shad were stay'n close to top water (sunlight, I guess) and I saw what looked like a few stripers tailing the shad up to the Blewett Dam wall.  I was just fishing bottom rigs when I set the hook on this 9.12lb, 28 inch Striped Bass on the Blewett Falls Dam wall.  I've never even seen a striper above the dam but I thought it was worlh posting.  Just to be clean, this striper came from Blewett falls lake, not the lower Pee Dee River.

I don't hear about too many Stripers coming out of Blewett Falls! Nice Catch and Congrats, Byron! Might need to hook up out there one day.
