Being new to this forum I wanted to say hello.  They ask that we introduce ourselfs and tell a little about what we do.

I grew up fishing for lake and stream trout in the Pacific Northwest.  I also spent a lot of time  fishing in Puget Sound and San Francisco Bay.  The salt water fishing was for Sea Bass or at least that is what we called them.  I later wound up in Missouri for several years where I fished many of the large and small lakes for Bass.  I also fished from the Mississippi River up some of its tributaries for Bass.  I never have caught anything in the Mississippi but did do quit well in Salt River from the Mississippi just north of Louisiana, Missouri.  I have also caught a few Catfish and Crappie.  I seemed to always have the best luck with Trout or Bass.

My business brought me to Southwest Minnesota where I am now pursuing the Walleye and Northern Pike when I can find the time.  There are no Bass in the lakes around here so this is a whole new ball game for the different species.

I enjoy the boating as much as I do the fishing so I have two boats.  A runabout that I just enjoy cruising in.  My second boat is a small 14 foot Vee bottom that I use for fishing.

My background was in education where I taught Automotive Technology, Marine Mechanics, Heating and Air conditioning.  I left public education several years ago and have been working in a design engineering capacity to do with power generation for the last several years.

I look forward to picking up on fishing and possibly fishing boat related topics on this forum.  I might also provide some input on a topic if I know something about it.
